Job Description:

This full-time position performs clerical, administrative and technical work receiving and dispatching routine and emergency information to countywide law enforcement as well as Fire/EMS services. Pay Range $11.67/hr. - $15.03/hr.

 

Applicants must meet the following criteria: Shall be a United States citizen, at least 18 years of age, possess a High School diploma or acceptable equivalent, no criminal record and be of good moral character.  Must pass written test, oral board, psychological test and polygraph.  Fluency in speaking Spanish desired but not necessary. 

 

The successful applicant must pass post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol screens along with physical capacity profile and background checks.  Must live within 45 minutes of the Cowley County Courthouse. 

 

Those eligible for the written test will be notified via e-mail. Testing will be March 13th at 8 AM in the ACPD Training room, 117 W. Central.  Those eligible after testing will be interviewed on March 22, 2013.
