CITY OF WINFIELD

 

RESERVE FIREFIGHTER – VOLUNTEER POSITION - Includes general duty firefighter work in the protection of life and property by suppression and prevention of fires. Minimum requirements include: High school diploma or GED equivalent; at least 18 years of age; valid driver's license and a passing written and physical CPAT test within two years of June 30th, 2013. Copy of driver’s license and CPAT certifications must be included with application to be considered for the reserve firefighter position.  Position requires good physical condition, working a 24-hour rotating shift, and be available for call-back. Individual must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test, and when hired must meet residency requirement of residing within twenty miles driving distance of the Winfield City Limits.
