SEDAN, KANSAS POLICE OFFICER POSITION

The Sedan Police Department is accepting application for a full-time police officer.  Applicants must be 21 years of age, posses a valid driver's license, and have a high school diploma or equivalent, no criminal history or lengthy traffic records and must be in good physical condition.  Preferred training and/or experience: Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center certified and patrol experience.  Wages are dependent on qualifications and experience.  City benefits include Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation, sick leave and KPERS retirement plan.  To obtain an application, contact the Sedan Police Department (City Hall) at 111 East Cherokee or call (620)725-3193.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.  The City of Sedan is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
