Public Works
Maintenance: The city of Lansing is a progressive
community and is currently seeking a qualified candidate to operate light
to heavy equipment, such as 2-ton trucks with snow plows and sanding equipment,
back hoe and skid steer loaders, and mowers.
Candidate will perform manual labor in the maintenance and repair of
city streets and rights-of-way, sidewalks, alleys, storm drainage structures
and systems and signs, and performs roadside mowing, snow and ice removal,
brush and tree cutting, and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Two years’ experience in related field and training in traffic control
and street maintenance preferred. Must
be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess a
valid Kansas Class B license. Compensation DOQ.
