Job Description: General Description:  Under the supervision of the Utility Manager, the Laborer is a non-exempt position under FSLA.  This employee assists with the operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater treatment plants, grounds, and other facilities, performs repairs, and inspects equipment.  This employee performs manual labor and should possess a strong mechanical aptitude.  Some weekends and holidays will be required.  Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.  Potential for advancement into a plant operator position.  KDHE certified water and/or wastewater certified operators are encouraged to apply.  Pay commensurate with experience.  E-mail resume to [email protected].  EOE
