Job Description:

The City of Dodge City is seeking committed talent to join our team in the Public Works Department.  We are accepting applications for Full-Time Maintenance Worker I, Street Department—Position performs manual labor in the repair, maintenance and minor construction of City streets and storm drainage systems; removal of snow/ice; and other duties as assigned in the Public Works Department.  This job requires physical work including lifting and manipulating up to 75 lbs, and performing these duties in all kinds of weather.  A valid Kansas driver's license is required, with good driving record, and preference for one year of construction/maintenance experience using hand tools.  Must obtain a Class B CDL with air-brake endorsement within 6 months of hire.

Salary range for position is $11.44 - $17.69 per hour, with full-time benefit package, DOQ.  Position works a minimum of 40 hours per week and is classified non-exempt.
