Job Description: Essential Duties:
- Supervises Water/Sewer Crew.
- Ensures that job sites are safe and that all required materials and equipment are available.
- Operates vehicles and equipment.
- Directs the repair and maintenance of facilities.
- Plans, maintains, and repairs the network of underground water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
- Inspects work in progress.
- Addresses citizen concerns, inquiries and complaints.
- Repairs and maintains water/wastewater lines, lift stations, and other facilities.
- Perform main taps.
- Replaces existing meters and installs meters on new accounts.
- Read meters.
- Perform ground maintenance including but not limited to mowing and weed eating.
- Operates equipment and vehicles.
- Perform water/wastewater line locates.
- Establishes traffic safety zones while working.
- Stocks crew truck with supplies.
- Perform building maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
