Job Description: The City of Oxford, KS has decided to expand their Police Department and is looking for another full time officer to fill the city's needs. The department currently consists of a Chief, 1 full time officer, 5 part time officers, an Animal Control Officer and a Police Clerk.
The police officer would provide security to the residents of this "bedroom community", answer calls, control traffic, provide public assistance and control emergency situations. Enforce all Federal, State, County, Local Laws and Ordinances. And perform duties assigned by the Chief of Police.
Starting pay is $1475/hr. with BCBS Health Insurance (family), paid holidays, paid vacation, sick leave and KPERS retirement. The officer will have a take home vehicle.
