POSITION AVAILABLE:                           REGISTERED DIETITIAN – 24 Hours Weekly

                                                            Position opened until filled

 

LOCATION:                                        RENO COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:                         Assist with coordination and assurance of the provision and quality of direct nutrition and breast-feeding promotion services to WIC participants as outlined by federal, state, and local departmental guidelines and provide nutrition education and counseling for other Health Department program participants. 

  

QUALIFICATIONS:                            Requirements:  Graduate from an accredited college or university with major in food, nutrition or dietetics, plus dietetic internship or equivalent and registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and KDHE Health Occupations Credentialing.  Registration-eligible applicants will be considered.   Employee is responsible for maintaining all registration and licensure with documentation to administration.  Ability to speak and understand Spanish helpful, comfortable with public speaking; good public relations skills; maintain accurate and appropriate records; possess a valid Kansas driver’s license; successfully pass drug screen and a physical capacity profile. 

   

     SALARY and STATUS:                      PART-TIME / 24 HOURS (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

GRADE 33 - $18.56 / HOUR
