Job Description:

The City of Coffeyville is seeking applications for the position of Apprentice Utility in Water/Wastewater Collection and Distribution Department.  Position duties include: assist in construction, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater lines; respond to leaks and calls after hours and week-ends; operate all types of equipment needed fo maintaining and repairng water and wastewater lines.

Requires ability to work outside in extreme conditions with occasional heaving lifting over 50#.  CDL license or ability to obtain is required.  Must successfully complete apprentice bookwork and on the job training to achieve journeyman certification. 

Applicants must be willing to meet the City of Coffeyville residency requirement of living within USD 445 school district boundary.  Hiring process includes physical, including back x-ray and drug screen.
