TEST TIMES ARE BELOW.
TESTING OUTSIDE OF THESE TIMES IS NOT ALLOWED. YOU WILL NEED APPROXIMATELY 30
MINUTES TO TEST:
TUESDAYS: 10AM – NOON, 2PM
– 4PM
WEDNESDAYS: 10AM – NOON,
2PM – 4PM
THURSDAYS: 10AM – NOON,
2PM – 4PM
Testing is located at 510
N. Main, Suite 304 Wichita, KS 67203 -- The Historic Courthouse. **Applications
will not be reviewed until testing is successfully completed**
There is no free parking
at the courthouse. You may park at a meter on Market Street, or there is
parking garage located at the corner of Main and Elm that will cost
approximately $5.00.
Please apply FIRST and then come in to complete testing. Test scores
are valid for one year only.
Job Objectives:
Prepares, scans and indexes District Attorney archived
juvenile offender case files.
Essential Job Functions:
The primary functions of this position include accurately
preparing, imagaing, and indexing archived juvenile offender case files within
the District Attorney Just Ware case management system involving significant
procedure and sequence while meeting and maintaining production standards. Compiles and maintains production statistical
data following District Attorney Policies and protocols.
Job Standards:
High school diplo0ma or equivalent including or
supplemented by courses in secretarial subjects. Two (2) years’ experience in varied clerical
and secretarial work or any combination of training and experience that
provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures.
Knowledge of the juvenile justice process.
Knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation and
arithmetic.
Ability to understand and follow quickly and accurately written
and oral instructions.
Ability to understand the policies, procedures, and
services of the Office of the District Attorney.
Ability to be highly organized and well versed in various
types of filing systems and methodologies.
Ability to compile and maintain complex records; assemble
and organize data, image and file.
Ability to display a great attention to detail and
ability to be precise.
Ability to make independent decisions in accordance with
established policies and procedures.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with co-workers and associates.
Ability to work collaboratively with others.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both
orally and in writing.
Ability to be reliable and work independently.
Performs all other tasks as assigned.

Valid
Kansas Driver’s License Required. Must
meet Driver Qualification standards as set forth in Sedgwick County’s Fleet
Vehicle Operation and Usage policy.
