Wellington Fire & EMS Department

The City of Wellington Fire & EMS employs 15 shift personnel, three administrative staff and 4 reserves. The department responds on an average to 1200 EMS calls and 1000 fire calls annually to an EMS coverage area of 442 square miles and a Fire coverage area of 160 square miles. Staff work 24 hour shifts and must reside within 15 minutes of the fire station.
