Job Title: Emergency Communications Officer
The Hodgeman County Sheriff's Office is now accepting applications for the position of Emergency Communications Dispatcher. Dispatchers currently work 12 hour shifts and may be required to work weekends, nights or holidays dependent on the needs of the agency. Must be dependable, have a strong work ethic and have the ability to deal with stressful situations. Requires excellent verbal communication & listening skills, ability to multi-task, should type 30 wpm & be computer literate. Minimum 18 years old, HS graduate, valid KS driver's license, ability to complete certification courses paid for by the agency & pass a thorough criminal background check & drug screening.
