Salary: $10.30 Hourly
Seven total positions available: Starting Wage: $10.30/hr (Full-time, Summer Seasonal – non-benefit eligible)
Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to operate a four wheel drive vehicle, both on and off the road. Additionally, must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
Noxious Weed (2 positions available) - Mow lawns and parks, help with the application of herbicides, other duties. This department is no longer accepting applications
Public Works (2 positions stil available) - 1) Ensures the safety of the driving public and fellow employees in and around construction or work zones by setting up traffic control devices and performing work zone traffic control; 2) Performs mowing operations along County public roads; 3) Operates various types of machinery on construction projects; 4) Works with hand tools while assisting in the maintenance of County roads and drainage structures, and 5) other duties as assigned.
