Usual working days/hours:

20 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Location of work:

1900 E. Morris

Job Objectives:
Provide clerical support for the Juvenile Division of the Office of the District Attorney. Assist with clerical duties related to electronic file retention and E-Filing.

Essential Job Functions:
Assist with electronic filing of journal entries and other documents submitted through the court’s E-File system. Track journal entries through the various stages of preparation and submission. Maintain journal entry tracking log. Monitor electronic filing notices and distribute as necessary. Assist records section with various duties including sorting, filing and scanning. Assist other areas of the office as necessary with various clerical duties. Perform other duties as required.

Job Standards:
High school diploma or the equivalent. Previous training, experience or education relating to criminal/juvenile justice and the legal system is preferred.

Testing/Screening Requested:
None

Equipment:
Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, copiers, and scanners. Basic knowledge of computers and software. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Work Environment:
Professional law office environment
