Job Title: Administrative Specialist
Salary: $17.44 Hourly

High-level support position for the County Administrator's office. Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise discretion required.
Position Responsibilities: Contributes to the fast paced daily operation of the office by acting as initial contact for the department. Provides necessary support from basic office needs to detailed reports.Ability to responsibly perform in a professional environment necessary. Additional assignments include providing for County utility customer service needs, including but not limited to the set up and termination of customer accounts, billing processing and answering customer questions.
Education/Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent, plus graduation from a business or vocational school including courses in business administration, supplemented by two (2) years professional work experience in an office. A demonstrated skill and aptitude for performing advanced office work is required. Extensive experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases necessary. A combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability accepted.
