Job Title: Medical Secretary
Salary: $12.53 Hourly
Starting rate: $12.53/hour. Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week). The office is open Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Health Department management staff will work with the selected applicant to set a schedule beneficial to the employee and the health department.
Position offers excellent benefits (health insurance, paid time off, KPERS & more) No weekends or Holidays
Position Responsibilities: Maintenance of all Health Department medical records and performance of general clerical and secretarilal duties. Must possess excellent communication skills, and computer skills.
Education/Experience Required: GED, Diploma, or equivalent required. Similar or related experience required. Excellent writing and oral communication skills are also required.
Special Requirements: Applicant must have and maintain a current valid driver’s license.
