Usual working days/hours:

Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Location of work:

Sedgwick County Courthouse

Job Objectives:
This position provides administrative and clerical support in the day-to-day operations of case, file and document management. It also provides administrative and clerical support to the other attorneys in the office as well as assist in the maintaining and management of the library and office equipment.

Essential Job Functions:
filing, typing, ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication, lifting and carrying of files and boxes, and standing to make copies.

Job Standards:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent supplemented by administrative and/or clerical/secretarial courses.
  • Four years’ experience in responsible secretarial work or any equivalent experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • As well as a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism is required.


Testing/Screening Requested:

  • Drug test
  •  Criminal background check.
  • Typing
  • Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access testing


Equipment:
Computer, printer, telephone, copy machine, scanner, fax machine, typewriter, shredder, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel), Word Perfect, SAP)
