Job Title: Shop Foreman
Salary: $18.89 Hourly
Minimum Starting Pay: $18.89/hour plus full benefits.
Position Responsibilities: Front-line supervisory and administrative responsibilities for the overall execution of maintenance and repair activities for County vehicles and equipment, plus daily planning for shop crew assignments.
Education/Experience Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required, technical or vocational school degree is preferred. Other equivalent combination of training and experience, especially as it relates to diesel and heavy equipment repairs accepted. Willingness and ability to work in extreme weather conditions a must.
Special Requirements: Possession (or successfully obtain within 60 days of employment) and maintenance of a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements mandatory. Air brake certified as per federal DOT mandate.
