Job Title: Customer Service Supervisor
Salary: $36539.00 Annually
The City of Coffeyville is seeking applications for the position of Customer Service Supervisor. Responsibilites include a wide variety of skilled and complex administrative and accounting duties supporting utility billing function. Duties include computation, distribution, receipt and analysis of utility billings; resolve billing disputes; address customer defaults or debts. Gather, interpret and prepare data for studies and prepare comprehensive reports. Answer questions and provide information to citizens and other city staff. Perform responsible and difficult administrative work involving the use of independent judgment and personal initiative in difficult or stressful situations. Ability to yield accurate results under tight deadlines, organize/prioritize work and concentrate on multiple tasks concurrently; perform difficult administrative support service with high level of accuracy and detail.
Minimum qualifications include: 5-7 years of increasingly responsible work experience in a detail oriented accounting or business administration function; relevant work experience that includes customer service, billing, accounting and supervisory responsibilities. Associates degree in business or accounting related field preferred. Proficient with Excel, Word and other software applications.
Residency requirement that employees must reside within State of Kansas and within 25 miles of 7th & Walnut in Coffeyville, Kansas. Applications accepted until position is filled.
