Job Description:

Usual working days/hours: M-F 8a-5p

Location of work: 615 N. Main

Job Objectives:
Ensure quality of Day and Residential services provided by affiliates through monitoring contract compliance and facilitating continuous quality improvement activities.

Essential Job Functions:
Service Provision Oversight • Track, trend and report on all critical incident reports (CIR) and Abuse Neglect and Exploitation reports • Review and follow up on all Adult Protective Services and Child Protective Services reports • Manage Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) process with affiliate providers; assign, review, score and create trend reports based on outcomes of the QAC consumer reviews • Monitor QAC training requirements and communicate additional training opportunities as needed Continuous Quality Improvement • Complete site visits to all Day program affiliate provider locations and all Residential affiliate provider locations • Analyze and identify trends related to site visits conducted by members of SCDDO QA team; address concerns and monitor for completeness • Collaborate with affiliate providers during quality assurance meetings • Collaborate with local and state staff to ensure quality service delivery • Collaborate with managed care staff and community stakeholders • Collaborate with affiliate providers to determine staff development needs of Day and Residential staff • Analyze and identify trends related to QAC outcomes; assist with continuous quality improvement planning and monitor success • Assist TCM Coordinator in the delivery of training to affiliate providers • Plan and facilitate local quarterly QAC meetings • Maintain and analyze data related to Day and Residential provider complaints or concerns reported outside of the CIR and QAC process Contract Compliance • Ensure Day and Residential providers are complying with SCDDO Policy Manual • Ensure that Residential service provider owned/ operated locations maintain water temperature control devises • Monitor access to Day and Residential services • Maintain and analyze data related to Day and Residential complaints or concerns Secondary Functions • Participates in supervisory, staff, and professional meetings as scheduled • Engages in elective and assigned training • Collaborate with GIS to map group homes, apartments and host homes; share data analysis with SCDDO Assistant Director • Other duties as assigned

Job Standards:
Bachelor’s degree in the human services field or similar field of study. Three years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Applicable knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access. Access to reliable, personal transportation. Valid State of Kansas Driver’s License and proof of automobile insurance meeting the requirements of Sedgwick County Fleet Vehicle Operations and Usage Policy. Must submit to criminal, abuse/neglect registry background checks.

Testing/Screening Requested:
• Background checks including but not limited to KBI and DCF adult and child abuse registry. • Motor Vehicle Screen. • Pre-employment drug screen.

Equipment:
Candidates must have good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Programs. •They will need to be able to type and use multi-line phones.

Work Environment:
• Majority of work will be performed indoors in an office setting.
