Usual working days/hours: M-F 8:00-5:00
Location of work: District Attorney's Office, Courthouse Annex, 535 N Main St
Performs varied clerical and office work in the District Attorney Adult Records Division for one or more administrative, professional or technical employees.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain, manage and distribute case files; E-filing documents into statewide system for court filing; Open new case files following established protocol; File closings; Conduct daily mail runs and receive, sort and distribute departmental mail; Archival project following established protocol including prep, scan, and shred files once approved; provide backup coverage to reception and other positions as needed
High school diploma or equivalent including or supplemented by secretarial courses; Two years’ experience in varied clerical and secretarial work or any combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Prefer two years' experience in legal field
Background check and drug screen required
Standard office equipment with above average skills using Microsoft Office products
