Emporia State University is located in Emporia, Kansas, a city with a population of nearly 30,000 people. The University has an enrollment of approximately 6,000 students and employs approximately 800 faculty and staff positions. The Office of Human Resources recruits for the Classified Staff positions, such as clerical, maintenance, nurses, computer technicians, crafts and trades. The Emporia State University campus has grown from its original twenty acres to over 200.
