Case Managers provide goal-directed, medically necessary case management services and support to clients with mental health needs. Because we care so much for the Clients we serve, we’re looking for reliable individuals who can commit to regular and non-disruptive work attendance.

As a Case Manager you will:
- Provide Case management to individuals using identified and accepted methods to remediate symptoms of mental illness and/or improve emotional and functional well-being.
- Conduct risk assessments to address the safety of our clients
- Prepare Treatment Plans including the client and his/her family participation
- Collaborate in review, updates and progress on your Client’s goals with the Treatment Plan coordinator or other members of the treatment team
- Meet with your clients to complete strengths assessment, discuss treatment goals and available services
- Complete progress notes which meet the requirements for medical necessity, goal-directed treatment and client response to treatment within prescribed timelines.
Within Sedgwick County’s Comcare Program, Case Manager Positions are available under three different programs:
•Community Support Services case manager’s work with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
•Center City case managers work with homeless individuals who have also been diagnosed with a mental illness.
•Children’s Services case manager’s work with children who have been diagnosed with severe emotional disturbance.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree or be equivalently qualified by work experience or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education, with one year of experience substituting for one year of education. Must have a valid Kansas Driver’s license and current proof of automobile insurance, and pass KBI, DCF child abuse check, adult abuse registry, and motor vehicle screens.
