Job Title: Motor Vehicle/Tax Clerk II
Salary: $14.61 Hourly

Position Responsibilities: The goal of this position is to provide efficient and professional citizen assistance to the general public while collecting taxes, selling tags, and completing various forms. Employee must possess excellent communication and personal relation skills, and regularly performs general office duties for the department. Trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; addresses complaints and resolves problems. Assembles a variety of routine reports and tables.
Education/Experience Required: A working knowledge of computers, typing, and word-processing are required. Employee must be able to operate cash register, calculators, photocopies, and Driver's License equipment including cameras, and eye exam equipment with a high level of accuracy. Employee must possess excellent writing and oral communication skills, ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, requires accuracy and a strong attention to detail. The ability and willingness to learn quickly is also required. Supervisory experience preferred. Reliable and dependable attendance essential.
