The City of Junction City announces the following job opening:
Part Time Parks &Recreation Administrative Assistant: Performs clerical, secretarial and administrative work in supporting the Parks & Recreation Department. Performs payroll and billing functions; deals with the public on a daily basis. Assists with the support of various Parks & Recreation programs, events, & activities. Salary - $12/hour.
WorkReady Certificate preferred or must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Contact the Work Force Center for more information (785-762-8870). MUST be willing to reside in Geary County within 90 days of employment.
This part time position up to 30hrs a week. Requires a High School or GED diploma, with specialized course work in general office practices; two years of increasingly responsible related experience or any equivalent combination of education & experience; a valid driver’s license, must pass an extensive background check and strive in providing excellent service to the public.
