Serve as secretarial and receptionist support for department. Receive and direct incoming calls, greeting the public, informing staff when clients arrive and performing other assigned tasks.
Essential Job Functions:
Inform staff when clients arrive, answer multi-line telephone and direct calls. Deliver and pick up, sort and distribute department mail from the Courthouse. Receive payments and issue receipt. Print and distribute assigned reports. Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. Transcribe recorded tapes. Prepare client invoices and files.
High school diploma or G.E.D. Proficient with computer knowledge. Type minimum of 45 wpm with accuracy. Accurate data entry.
Must pass pre-employment Physical Capacity Profile and Drug Screen.
Operate all job-related machinery, equipment, tools and other aids as required.
95% indoors and 5% outdoors. Indoor duties are primarily performed in climate-controlled surroundings; however, there may be occasional exposure to varying temperatures (+/-) throughout the building. Outdoor duties may be performed in a variety of weather conditions.
