Job Description:

Emporia State University currently has an Electrician vacancy with the University Facilities team located in Emporia, KS.

As an Electrician, you will:

  • Complete electrical installations during construction and remodeling projects
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems, and complete work orders
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
  • Frequently climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and stoop to complete tasks

The Electrician position:

  • Is based in Emporia, KS
  • Earns $15.90 per hour
  • Is eligible for a competitive benefits package
  • Works 7:00a-3:30p Monday-Friday

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years of experience with electrical systems
    • Completion of an approved electrician apprenticeship program may substitute for the required experience.
