Job Title: EMT/AEMT
EMT/AEMT PRN Shifts Available; while no full-time positions are available at this time, we are starting an applicant pool for interested applicants to be considered when a vacancy occurs.
The full-time positions work a 48/96 rotation. Enjoy the opportunity to work 48 hours followed by 96 hours off - then the shift repeats. (eg: Work 8 a.m. Monday to 8 a.m. Wednesday, then off work from 8:00 a.m. Wednesday through 8:00 a.m. Sunday). Pottawatomie County does NOT have a residency requirement for EMS personnel.
Minimum Starting Rate dependent on position: (EMT = $12.41/hr; AEMT = $13.19/hr), PRN starts at 10% above the minimum

Position Responsibilities: Provides emergency medical treatment in a pre-hospital setting, performing basic life support and ALS to the sick and injured.
Education/Experience Required: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, or graduation from a vocational school is preferred. Must be Kansas Certified and/or hold National Registration as an EMT/AEMT
Special Requirements: Possession & maintenance of a valid Kansas Driver's License.
