Job Title: Police Officer - City of Kingman
Police Officer: The City of Kingman is seeking candidates for a vacancy in its Police Department. The City has a force of seven (7) officers and patrols 24/7 within the City.
Minimum qualifications require candidates to be a Kansas resident, be 21 years of age at time of appointment, possess a valid Kansas driver’s license, have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and be a U.S. citizen. The preferred candidate will have full-time law enforcement experience, be currently certified, and be currently employed as a full-time police officer in Kansas. Candidates without experience will also be accepted for this position, but successful completion of certification education paid by the City will be required to maintain employment.
The successful candidate must successfully complete and pass several pre-employment tests, including: a drug test, a physical examination, psychological testing, and a background investigation. The successful candidate will also have no felony or non-traffic misdemeanor convictions and no serious traffic convictions.
